PSG are facing growing uncertainty at the goalkeeper position, with Lucas Chevalier being considered a potential long-term option. Gianluigi Donnarumma is still under contract through 2026, but extension talks have stalled, and no deal is currently in sight.

Manchester United are reportedly exploring changes in goal, with Donnarumma among the names on their radar.

According to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins, Donnarumma remains with PSG, but his camp is actively exploring potential destinations. Manchester United, Manchester City, Galatasaray, and several clubs from Saudi Arabia have all shown interest.

For now, Donnarumma is still committed to PSG and would only consider a move if the right project comes along. Within the club, there’s still a possibility he competes with Chevalier for the No. 1 spot, with manager Luis Enrique expected to make the final decision, per Hawkins.

Amid the rumors of Donnarumma to Manchester United, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano provided an update on the situation and noted that the Red Devils are looking for a shot-stopper.

“I’m receiving many messages on Manchester United. What I’m told is that as of today end of July, start of August there are no negotiations between PSG and Man United and Donnarumma.”

Recently, Sports Zone reported that Manchester United contacted PSG regarding Donnarumma. Moreover, the report mentions that it’s almost certain that no agreement will be possible between Donnarumma and PSG.

Sports Zone added that Al-Ittihad and Galatasaray are offering him close to €20 million per year, as Chelsea and Manchester City have also made inquiries.

Meanwhile, journalist Marc Mechenoua reported this week that Manchester United have asked about Donnarumma’s situation at PSG. However, unless there’s a major squad clear-out, the Red Devils are unlikely to pursue it further, and Chelsea have also made inquiries.
