CHAN 2024: Kenya – Madagascar, making history at Kasarani for the Harambee Stars

For the first time ever, Kenya has reached the quarterfinals of CHAN, where the Harambee Stars will face Madagascar this Friday at Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani.

After incidents during the group stage, CAF had limited the stadium's capacity. But thanks to new security guarantees, Kasarani will now welcome fans at 80% of its capacity, promising an electrifying atmosphere.

CAF has approved 80% stadium capacity for Friday’s CHAN 2024 quarterfinal at Kasarani, permitting 36,000 spectators, up from the 27,000 allowed during Kenya’s victory over Zambia. The move comes after improved security measures, enhanced crowd management, and expanded fan zones.
