Borussia Dortmund working on double deal for Chelsea duo | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund are working on a double deal to sign Chelsea duo Aaron Anselmino and Carney Chukwuemeka.

Chukwuemeka spent the second half of last season on loan at Dortmund, where he made 17 appearances and helped the German side to Champions League qualification. The 21-year-old is keen on a return to the Westfalenstadion, despite rival interest from Juventus.

Chelsea are unwilling to sanction another loan move for the midfielder and are insisting on a permanent transfer. The West Londoners have already rejected several approaches from Dortmund, who are yet to meet Chelsea’s valuation.

Dortmund are also interested in signing centre-back Aaron Anselmino on loan. Enzo Maresca has confirmed the 20-year-old will depart on a temporary basis and the player has accepted a move to Germany.

“With Aaron, he is training with us, training very hard, and is a fantastic boy,’ the Italian explained at his pre-West Ham press conference.

“He’s a really good player, but he needs to play games. He is another one who is waiting for a solution [over a loan move].”

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Chelsea are prepared to sanction Anselmino’s loan move to Dortmund, though only if any deal for Chukwuemeka is permanent.
