Borussia Dortmund re-join race for Ardon Jashari | OneFootball

Sacha Tavolieri reports that Borussia Dortmund have quickly re-ignited their interest in Swiss midfielder Ardon Jashari. The Bundesliga outfit was linked with a move for the 22-year-old earlier this summer with Bayer Leverkusen are also showing interest in the Club Brugge professional.

Dortmund are set to be flush with cash following the imminent sale of Jamie Gittens to Chelsea. If the reported upon figures prove correct, die Schwarzgelben will swing tier estimated summer transfer balance from -€31.6m to +€33.4m.

This would enable the Westphalians to make a play for Jashari, who maintains an estimated €32m value. In addition to Leverkusen, Dortmund must fend off Serie A interest for the thrice-capped Swiss international. AC Milan are thought to be in advanced talks to acquire Jasahri.

Jashari nevertheless remains a preferred candidate of BVB head coach Niko Kovac. The Germans may still stand a chance in the race for the former Luzern academy man.
