Bayern Ready to Break Transfer Record for Real Madrid's Rodrygo
Bayern Munich are reportedly prepared to invest club record fee of 100 million euro to sign Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid during the current summer transfer window.
The 24 year old Brazilian winger's seen his role reduced under new Madrid boss Xabi Alonso with limited minutes at the 2025 Club World cup further fueling speculation about his future.
According to AS, Bayern are closely monitoring the situation and remain on standby to act especially if their move for Liverpool's Luis Diaz falls through.
The report highlights that Bayern’s pursuit of Rodrygo's contingent on the outcome of their interest in Diaz. If Liverpool refuse to sell, Bayern are ready to turn their full attention to Rodrygo.
Madrid're unlikely to part ways with Rodrygo for less than 100M euro. Should Bayern meet the valuation, the Brazilian would become the most expensive signing in the club's history surpassing Harry Kane who arrived in 2023 for 95M euro plus bonuses.
Interest in Rodrygo isn't limited to Bayern. Chelsea, PSG, Arsenal and Al Nassr are also reportedly keen on the winger who may seek leading role ahead of the 2026 World cup.
