Barcelona youngster signs with Jay-Z’s ‘Roc Nation’ agency | OneFootball

An up-and-coming member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona recently opted to sign with a new representation agency.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Marc Bernal as the player in question.

Youngster Bernal is for his part of course in the midst of a long-term spell on the sidelines at present.

After establishing himself as a key figure in the engine room setup of new boss Hansi Flick at just 17 years of age early in the campaign, Bernal picked up a knee problem late in a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano.

As much was subsequently confirmed to be an ACL tear, ruling the starlet out for the foreseeable future.

Bernal has spent the months since working hard on his recovery, with a view to playing his part in pre-season this summer.

And as alluded to above, the Spaniard has evidently been doing his due diligence when it comes to matters away from the grass, too.

This comes amid confirmation that Bernal has penned terms with rapper Jay-Z’s ‘Roc Nation’, who will take over all matters regarding the player’s representation moving forward.

As per Sport:

‘Roc Nation’ has secured Bernal’s representation rights in a clear commitment to a player who is called to be one of the great midfielders of the future.’
