A head-turning statistic surrounding the creative exploits of Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal has come to the fore on Sunday evening.

As much, of course, comes fresh off Lamine’s latest scintillating individual display on the international front.

The winger was back in action a short time ago, featuring from the off in Spain’s Euro 2024 Last-16 showdown with Georgia.

When all was said and done, La Roja marched on to a dominant 4-1 triumph, to book their spot in the competition’s quarter-finals.

And Lamine played a starring role once more, wreaking havoc down the right wing en route to carving out a whole host of presentable goalscoring opportunities.

One such chance was dully converted by Fabián Ruiz, early in the 2nd-half.

This marked Lamine’s 2nd assist of the Euros to date.

And, as a result, the Barcelona prodigy has secured for himself a fresh piece of history.

As revealed by statisticians Squawka, Lamine, at just 16, has established himself as the first teenager to assist multiple goals at a single European Championship tournament since the great Cristiano Ronaldo all the way back in 2004.
