With the 2025/26 season approaching, excitement is already building around Barcelona’s upcoming kits.
In fact, according to a report from Jijantes, the new blaugrana home kit is expected to go on sale during the first week of July.
While the initial launch date was set for June 21, the release has reportedly been pushed to July 3 or 4, with global availability starting July 7.
It must be noted that the home shirt stays loyal to tradition but incorporates a subtle, modern twist. The classic vertical stripes in deep royal blue and red feature a gradient effect at the centre, symbolising the club’s ongoing evolution.
A small but symbolic Catalan flag appears on the upper back. This jersey blends the old with the new, preserving Barça’s visual legacy while embracing innovation.
Barcelona’s away kit will be a special tribute to basketball legend Kobe Bryant, designed in collaboration with Nike and bearing the Black Mamba logo.
The shirt will make its debut on July 27, when Barça face Vissel Kobe in Japan. This fixture, confirmed by the Japanese club, is so far the only officially announced match in Barcelona’s summer tour.
The kit’s golden yellow base is inspired by the iconic colours of the Los Angeles Lakers, with purple and black accents on the collar and sleeve piping.
Both the Barça crest and the Spotify and Mamba logos will be in black, replacing the traditional Nike swoosh with the Black Mamba symbol, a striking and emotional nod to Bryant’s legacy.
This limited-edition kit is not just a fashion statement but a symbolic blend of football and basketball greatness, honouring a legend while representing Barcelona’s global appeal.
