Defending champions under pressure to improve
Real Madrid are under pressure ahead of the return of the Champions League this week.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are just about in the play-off spots in the new-look Champions League table after an underwhelming campaign thus far.
The defending European champions lost 2-0 at Liverpool last time out and travel to in-form Atalanta tonight.
The Serie A side may have lost the UEFA Super Cup 2-0 to Los Blancos earlier this season but haven’t been defeated in Europe since and sit top of Serie A.
