Transferred last winter from Swedish club Sirius to Al-Ahly, Wessam Abou Ali is now attracting significant interest from abroad. According to multiple sources, the Danish striker of Palestinian origin is on the radar of clubs in MLS, the Middle East, and across Europe.

An offer of around €3.3 million has reportedly already been turned down by Al-Ahly, who are hoping to cash in over €10 million in any deal. And if a transfer does go through, Sirius could be in for a tidy profit. The Uppsala side, who sold Abou Ali in January, smartly included a resale clause in his contract.

Clubs like Al-Wasl (United Arab Emirates) and Al-Rayyan (Qatar) are already making moves. Should the eventual transfer fee come close to Al-Ahly’s demands, Sirius could pocket a handsome sum without lifting a finger. This one is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
