Lille winger Edon Zhegrova is on the verge of joining Juventus, especially after the negotiations with Atletico Madrid found a breakthrough for Nico Gonzalez.

The wide man had been waiting for the Bianconeri since August 16, when he was first linked with a move to Turin by Sportitalia colleague Gianluigi Longari.

Zhegrova can finally get green light for Juventus

His contract is running down with LOSC, and he is courted by Olympique Marseille, but once Juventus stepped up with their proposal, he was prepared to hold on for the Nico Gonzalez sale.

Atletico Madrid are now very close to completing the swoop for the Argentina international, who is valued between €30m and €35m.

Juve are asking for the loan with option to buy that can become an obligation, and it seems as if those terms will be acceptable to the Colchoneros.

Once the green light is given for Nico Gonzalez, that is when Zhegrova can arrive in Turin for the Old Lady.
