Xavi lays out conditions for Barcelona showdown talks with Joan Laporta | OneFootball

An insight into the terms requested by Barcelona head coach Xavi for his widely-discussed upcoming meeting with Joan Laporta has on Sunday been forthcoming.

The info comes courtesy of Barca insider Gerard Romero, who points towards the Blaugrana’s headmaster as eager for one request to be granted by the club’s president.

That the pair will meet face to face, and without the presence of any other members of the Camp Nou hierarchy.

Speaking on his official Twitch platform on Sunday evening, the aforementioned Romero confirmed:

“We’ve been told that Xavi wants to have a face to face meeting with Laporta, but just with him alone.”

The meeting in question, which is expected to come at some point over the next 24 hours, will prove decisive when it comes to Xavi’s future on the touchline in Catalunya’s capital.

This, of course, comes amid the widespread understanding that the Barcelona brass giving fresh consideration to a change in management for next season.
