Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso stressed the potential threat that Roma poses in the upcoming return leg of the Europa League semifinal.
Despite holding a two-goal advantage, Alonso urged caution in his pre-match interview with Sky Sport.
When asked about Paulo Dybala’s lack of fitness and uncertain status for tomorrow’s game, Alonso replied, “In this case, an important player would be missing, but Baldanzi could play in his place. He played well against Juventus, he is a young lad with talent.”
“Roma have many options, they can play with two strikers, with Abraham, with Azmoun or with Lukaku. They have flexibility and quality players. We are prepared to face different scenarios.”
