Matt Bloomfield and Ryan Lowe are among the managers that the Lions are currently considering.
Millwall have Wycombe Wanderers boss Matt Bloomfield at the top of their list to become their new manager.
This is according to Alan Nixon, who took to his Patreon page to reveal that the Chairboys could potentially face a battle to retain their manager.
Wycombe are currently doing extremely well under Bloomfield - and ended up securing a thumping 4-1 away win at Gareth Ainsworth's Shrewsbury Town on Saturday afternoon to strengthen their position as automatic promotion competitors.
With Wrexham only managing to secure a draw against Cambridge United, this weekend has been an extremely successful one for the Chairboys.
But they could potentially be the victims of their own success by losing Bloomfield, who was also linked with the Coventry City job after Mark Robins was dismissed.
Unfortunately for Harris, he was unable to bow out with a win, but he hasn't left the club in a terrible league position at this stage, with the London-based outfit currently in 13th place and in a decent position to kick on despite recent losses.
Bloomfield is currently the man wanted at The Den, according to Nixon.
If they are going to poach him from Wycombe though, they will need to pay compensation, and it remains to be seen how much the Lions are willing to fork out to get a deal over the line.
He has been a major success at Adams Park this season though - and could be worth the amount needed to lure him away from Buckinghamshire.
Ryan Lowe, who quit Preston North End after the opening night of the 2024/25 campaign, is also believed to be on the Lions' radar.
He has recently done some work with Sky Sports, but is available and wouldn't cost anything to bring in, considering he's a free agent.
However, the Lions' preferred choice seems to be Bloomfield at this stage, though they are also speaking to other managers before making a final decision.
Things turned a little sour towards the end of his reign.
However, Harris turned things around when he came in and has also done a respectable job this term.
The ingredients are there for someone to come in and have a decent impact, but it's a very competitive division and you have to wonder whether a new manager is going to be able to take the team to a new level.
Bloomfield has managed to turn his team into promotion competitors, arguably against the odds considering the strength of some of the other teams in the league.
And he could be the ideal man to come in and make a difference in the English capital.
