Didier Deschamps has committed to France until the end of the 2022 World Cup.

A new deal for the French boss was announced on Tuesday, which will run until 2022.

Deschamps’ previous contract ran until the end of the upcoming European Championships.

A former French captain and World Cup winner as a player, Deschamps led France to their second World Cup win in Russia last year.

Since taking over the national team in 2012, Deschamps has overseen 65 wins in 100 matches.
