WOMEN'S PRIMAVERA IN VIAREGGIO CUP TEST | OneFootball

Putting an incredibly well-balanced league, with the derby success, on pause for a moment, the Women's Primavera are approaching an important moment in their season. The young Rossonere will be back in the fifth edition of the Viareggio Women's Cup, scheduled to take place from 13 to 20 February in Tuscany.

For the third year running, AC Milan takes part in the event, and after losing the final in 2022 to Danish side Brøndby, last season arrived a historic trophy win. The very first in the brief history of the Women's Primavera, the victory on penalties against the Rappresentativa LND U19 (Amateur Women's Under 19 side from the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti).

A success that the Rossonere will be out to defend, in a tournament that involves 4 sides. Other than AC Milan, there will be Livorno, Rappresentativa LND U19, and the US team, Westchester United. There is a single round consisting of three games to decide the best 2 placed teams that will go through to the final, scheduled for Tuesday 20 February at the Stadio Ferracci in Torre del Lago (Lucca). The game will be shown live in Italy on RaiSport.
