MIAMI – Women’s professional football in the Concacaf region saw numerous players step up in key moments, even setting new records, prior to taking a pause for the upcoming international break.

Kansas City continues hot NWSL start

The top of the table of the NWSL belongs to the Kansas City Current, who started its season with three straight wins. The team’s most recent result came as a 4-2 victory against Angel City FC on Saturday afternoon.

Vanessa DiBernardo started the KC goal count in the 6’, ready in the box to send the ball to the top right corner. She also assisted the second goal, this time Alexa Spaanstra finding the back of the net in the 45 '+2 with a header.
