Wolves went second in front of 1,250 at the Hawthorns to move within three points of leaders Nottingham Forest, who drew at Loughborough Lightning.

Northern Premier Division

Loughborough Lightning 2-2 Nottingham Forest (Att: 220) West Bromwich Albion 1-3 Wolverhampton Wanderers (Att: 1,250)

Maria Timms did give West Brom an early lead but Beth Roberts soon levelled with her first goal for Wolves and Destiney Toussaint bagged a quick brace before the break.

Loughborough Lightning were on course for a first victory of the season after Kayleigh Hines struck twice, only for Forest to rescue a point as substitute Arryana Daniels swiftly halved the deficit and Laura-Jayne O’Neill levelled with six minutes left.

Southern Premier Division

Bridgwater United 3-3 Cheltenham Town

Bridgwater United edged out of the drop zone at the expense of London Bees after a draw against Cheltenham Town, with all six goals coming inside the first half hour. The visitors’ Billie Haynes scored first, Ellie Sara replied twice, Holly Finch equalised, Beth Everson had the hosts 3-2 up but Laura Holden made it 3-3 from long-range. That was how it stayed, despite the 82nd-minute red card for Cheltenham’s Kelcie Fallon.

Division One Midlands

Northampton Town 2-1 Peterborough United (Att: 100) Sheffield FC P-P Lincoln City Solihull Moors 2-3 Leafield Athletic (Att: 52)

Northampton Town are goal-difference ahead of Peterborough United and Solihull, having defeated the Posh while Leafield Athletic won at Moors to move within a point of them.

Vicky Barrett and Jade Bell scored the Cobblers’ goals, Peterborough created more chances in the second half and pulled a goal back on the hour when skipper Keir Perkins

Leafield were twice pegged back at Solihull Moors, before their third goal 13 minutes from time proved decisive.

Division One South East

Chesham United 0-6 Hashtag United (Att: 30)

Hashtag United hit Chesham United for six to regain top spot from AFC Wimbledon by two points. Malika Apindia Gille netted after only 17 seconds, there was a debut goal for Maddie Farrand, Grace Gillard double, while Sasha Adamson and Emma Samways also registered.

Division One South West

Keynsham Town 2-2 Swindon Town (Att: 148)

Keynsham Town are seven points from danger following the draw with mid-table Swindon Town. They had gone 2-1 up after Helena Diaz-Butcher got Swindon’s opener, Emison Evans equalising on 86 minutes.
