Wolverhampton Wanderers have already lined up their replacement for manager Nuno Espírito Santo, according to reports.
Nuno has been heavily linked with the Arsenal job following Unai Emery’s sacking last week and if he does leave Molineux, The Sun claim Wolves will swoop for Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi.
Lamouchi has done an impressive job with Forest this season and currently has the club fourth in the Championship and in contention for promotion back to the Premier League.
The 48-year-old Frenchman – who has previously coached the likes of Rennes and the Ivory Coast national team – is also said to be interesting a number of other Premier League clubs.
But it will all depend on whether Nuno leaves and according to a report from the Sunday Times, Arsenal have now “cooled their interest” in the Portuguese.
According to their information, the Gunners want a manager who can communicate well not only with players but also with media and supporters, selling the club to a global audience, and they are unsure whether Nuno fits their profile.
Freddie Ljungberg is currently in caretaker charge at the Emirates Stadium and the likes of Massimiliano Allegri and Carlo Ancelotti have also been linked with the job.
