Wolves are in talks to sign Corinthians forward Yuri Alberto (22), according to John Percy.
Talks between all parties are progressing as Wolves look to add firepower to their attack before tomorrow’s deadline.
This comes after Wolves had a loan bid rejected by Chelsea for Armando Broja this week, while the Premier League side also identified Danny Ings (West Ham) and Hugo Ekitike (PSG) as potential targets.
Per the report, Wolves are hoping to reach an agreement to bring Alberto to the Molineux on loan as funds are restricted “due to concerns over future breaches of the Profitability & Sustainability Rules.”
Alberto has played 95 games across all competitions for Corinthians, scoring 26 and creating 11 since his move from Zenit St. Petersberg in January 2023. The attacker also made his Brazil debut last year, and is currently valued at €15m by Transfermarkt, while his contract runs until 2027.
