Ruben Amorim has named his first Manchester United team as the Red Devils take on Ipswich Town in the Premier League.
Amorim takes charge of Manchester United for the first time at Portman Road on Sunday, having begun his reign in charge during the international break.
Rasmus Hojlund drops to the bench, as does Manuel Ugarte. The Portuguese coach has made clear his desire to implement the 3-4-3 system used so successfully at Sporting Lisbon, though Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof are all missing from the squad. Casemiro could be used in a centre-back role alongside Jonny Evans and Matthijs de Ligt.
Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo and Tyrell Malacia all return to the bench for Manchester United, following their returns from respective lay-offs. There’s no place in the squad for Leny Yoro, however, despite his return to first-team training.
Manchester United XI: Andre Onana; Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Jonny Evans, Noussair Mazraoui; Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes; Amad Diallo, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashord.
