Despite work permit concerns, Wolverhampton Wanderers are expected to complete the signing of highly-rated Hapoel Tel Aviv midfielder Emmanuel Boateng this summer.
This is according to a report from Ghanaian outlet KickGH, who claim chief scout Ben Wrigglesworth is up to his old tricks once again after landing N’Golo Kanté and Riyad Mahrez during his time at Leicester City.
With a work permit being a huge concern, clubs from Belgium, Denmark, and Italy have all reportedly registered an interest in bringing the player in on loan after he puts pen-to-paper on his Wolves deal.
Boateng has been a rising star with the Israeli giants over the last two seasons, making 42 appearances since his arrival from Ghanaian side Aduana Stars in 2018.
The player is known for being very versatile in midfield with endless pace and an ability to convert extremely tough passes.
