Chelsea forward Willian has revealed that contract negotiations between him and the club have āstoppedā.
The 31-year-old has just three months left on his current deal and renewal talks have stalled, meaning he could join a new club for free this summer.
Willian would prefer to stay in the Premier League but admits all options remain open regarding his future.
āThe only concrete negotiation was to renew a contract with Chelsea, which wasnāt possible,ā he told UOL.
āThey wanted a two-year contract and I asked for three. Now, everything has stopped. I will only have news when I return.
āMy desire is to stay in the Premier League, but I donāt rule out playing in other leagues. Iāll see what happens.ā
Willian has scored six goals in 37 appearances this season.
