Willem II have announced the signing of talented goalkeeper Thomas Didillon. The 28-year-old French goalkeeper has signed a contract with the club for two years and has been given the number one jersey in Tilburg. Didillon was out of contract this summer and is an excellent bit of business for the club that was promoted to the Eredivisie last season.

The now 28-year-old began his career in France with FC Metz before joining Anderlecht in the summer of 2018. He had a loan spell with Genk before joining Cercle Brugge in 2020. After an impressive first season with Cercle, the goalkeeper earned a loan move to the sides sister club Monaco. Didilon only made one appearance for Monaco before returning to Cercle Brugge. He was then frozen out of the team as the side opted to give Warleson the chance to be number one. The Brazilian was arguably the best goalkeeper in the Pro League last season.

Moving to Willem II gives the French goalkeeper a chance to revive his career and prove once again that he is a capable shot stopper.
