Sections of the Barcelona fanbase have taken to social media on Saturday evening, to make clear their frustrations with head coach Xavi.

As much comes despite the fine outing enjoyed by their side mere hours ago.

Barca were of course back in action on Saturday afternoon, welcoming Getafe to Catalunya for a La Liga clash.

The Blaugrana headed into proceedings in the knowledge that an eventual victory would see them leapfrog Girona into 2nd in the Spanish top-flight.

And, when all was said and done, march on to another three points is precisely what Xavi and co. managed.

After Raphinha opened the scoring early in proceedings, a quick-fire double on the part of João Félix and Frenkie de Jong all but ended the clash as a contest early in the 2nd-half.

Fermín López then added some gloss to the scoreline courtesy of a 4th late on.

And yet, as alluded to above, post-match, many of a Barcelona persuasion were nevertheless left unsatisified.

This comes amid growing frustration with boss Xavi’s treatment of young hitman Vitor Roque.

With Barca in cruise control early in the 2nd-half on Saturday evening, the hope was that January arrival Roque would be afforded an extended cameo, to showcase his unquestionable talents.

In the end, however, Xavi allowed the 18-year-old just over ten minutes of action at Montjuïc.

Not only that, but, upon his introduction, Roque was pushed into a wide role, rather than his favoured centre-forward berth.

And, safe to say, as much did not go down at all well with the club’s supporters, as highlighted courtesy of a quick social media roundup below:
