The outbound market at La Liga giants Barcelona has been brought to a halt, for the time being.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona, as a club, have of course seen their name take its place front and centre in the media chatter across the summer to date, amid links with a whole host of leading players from across the continent.

And yet, to date, the Blaugrana are yet to secure a single high-profile signing.

Work towards the additions of both Nico Williams and Dani Olmo remains ongoing, but, until one or both are actually secured, further business in or out looks unlikely.

As per Sport, Barca sporting director Deco has long come to the decision that the key members of Hansi Flick’s squad will not be sold, until absolute guarantees are in place regarding incomings.

This means that, for the time being at least, the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araújo, Raphinha and İlkay Gündoğan will be going nowhere.
