Euro 2024 is starting to take shape after the final round of qualifiers concluded on Tuesday.
Here’s who has already made it to Germany and who is heading down the play-off route.
Spain booked their place at next summer’s tournament at a canter and will be joined by Scotland, who finished six points clear of Norway in third.
Unfortunately for Erling Haaland and co, Georgia will take Group A’s spot in the play-offs owing to their Nations League coefficient.
Two more former winners have sealed their spot with France and the Netherlands confirming their status as Group B favourites.
Greece remain in with a shout of qualification after claiming third some six points clear of the Republic of Ireland.
Italy will defend their crown after progressing from Group C alongside England after a rematch of the Euro 2020 showpiece.
The reigning holders edged into the runners-up spot on goal difference, sending Ukraine down the play-off route.
The running order of Group D went down to the wire as Turkey flitted between the top two places despite already qualifying in advance.
Croatia temporarily ascended to pole position in the final round of games to see Wales miss out on automatic place at the tournament.
Group E produced one of the surprises in qualifying as Albania finished in top spot ahead of the Czech Republic.
But perhaps the biggest shock is that Poland will have to take the hard road to the top after ending their campaign in third.
It was a close call between who would finish at Group F’s summit but Belgium pipped Austria in the running order.
Remarkably, bottom-placed Estonia were confirmed as the play-off entrants despite taking just one point and a goal difference of -20.
Hungary assured their place as Group H winners with a second-half comeback against Montenegro last weekend.
They will be joined at Euro 2024 by Serbia, who held a three-point cushion over their group rivals’ final opponents.
Only a head-to-head record could separate Denmark and Slovenia as they racked up 22 points apiece in qualifying.
Group H’s play-off entrants were also evenly matched as Finland and Kazakhstan remain in contention due to their respective Nations League performances.
Romania and Switzerland are heading to Germany after finishing relatively comfortably in Group I’s top two positions.
Third-placed Israel will attempt to join them via the play-offs with their Nations League standing taken into account.
Portugal swept all before them with 30 points from their clinical campaign while Slovakia earned the runner-up spot.
Three nations are heading to the play-offs from Group J with Luxembourg, Iceland and Bosnia & Herzegovina all in the hat.
