Barcelona may be pushing to secure the signing of EURO 2024 star Dani Olmo, but one of their young talents provided a timely reminder of his abilities in the no.10 role.
That comes courtesy of Spanish youngster Fermin Lopez, who fired Spain into the lead in the Olympic Games quarter-final against Japan.
Stationed behind the striker, it took just 11 minutes for Lopez to pick the ball up 30 yards from goal in space. From there, he unleashed a powerful effort on his weaker foot that went under Japan's Leo Kokubu and handed La Roja the lead.
It's not a goal that he will forget in a hurry.
