Coventry City are looking to make another push for the play-offs after last season's devastating shortcomings.

Mark Robins and his team fell at the final hurdle at Wembley last season, when they lost to Luton Town on penalties in the play-off final. They started the season near the bottom of the league, and almost made it a fairytale ending for them. Unfortunately, the story that will be told for years to come, about that day at Wembley, but will be one about the Hatters and their rise back up the football pyramid.

City are on the verge of one of the top six places again this season, despite losing, arguably, their two best players in the summer: Viktor Gyokere and Gustavo Hamer. The 2023/24 campaign started in a similarly disappointing fashion to the previous one, but things have once again turned around.

The Sky Blues always get a strong following, both home and away, but what are their fans paying to watch their team, and how does it compare to the rest of the league?

Well, Football League World's has looked at the season ticket prices at the Coventry Building Society Stadium, and pitted them against those of the other teams in the Championship.

Coventry's season ticket prices break down into two general sections: standard zone and premium zone. These are what the prices were for both of these types of season tickets, dependent on age category.

Their general sale adult ticket ranked as the fourth most expensive in the division. City did an early bird price for a selected time, which massively reduced the price of tickets across the board.

They implemented a new idea and way of selling season tickets at the start of the campaign. They ran a Premier League package. These costed £500, regardless of the age group, and it gave fans a frozen rate for five seasons, or up until they reached the Premier League within that time. If they did get promoted during that time, the 5,000 Premier League package holders would get a free season ticket for the club's first season back in the top flight.

Coventry's season tickets compared to other play-off contenders

Of the six teams who look to be fighting for either fifth or sixth in the league - West Bromwich Albion, Hull City, Norwich City, Coventry, Preston North End, and Cardiff City - the Canaries have the most expensive standard seating season ticket at £599.50.

Cardiff have the cheapest adult season tickets at £299.

Coventry's season tickets compared to Leicester City

The rivals showed their bitterness towards each other on the opening day of the season, and in their most recent meeting. They both won their respective home games against each other this season, but the Foxes pip the Sky Blues for a cheaper adult season ticket, at just £450.
