Quick, what were the results?

Italy left it late to snatch a 1-0 win over Argentina in Auckland.

Germany produced the performance of the tournament so far as they hammered Morocco 6-0.

Ary Borges netted the first hat-trick of the World Cup as Brazil beat Panama 4-0.

So, do you have a Moment or Match of the Day?

Germany were at their imperious best on Monday as they beat Morocco 6-0 to register the biggest win of the tournament so far.

Alexandra Popp was the hero of the hour as she netted twice in the first half to lay down a marker for the rest of the World Cup’s leading nations.

Germany enjoyed 75 per cent possession, had 16 shots on goal and completed 691 passes – more than double what their opponents could manage in the 90 minutes.

It was a complete performance and will have fellow Group H opponents Colombia and South Korea quaking in their boots.

And a Player of the Day for me?

Who else could it be but Ary Borges?

The 23-year-old was playing in her first ever World Cup match as Brazil took in Panama in Adelaide.

And the Racing Loiusville midfielder managed to bag a brilliant hat-trick in a resounding 4-0 victory.

Two back post headers and a close range tap-in saw Borges go to the top of the tournament’s scoring charts and announced her as one to watch during the rest of this World Cup.

Come on, show us a picture perfect moment:

It was three of the best for Brazil’s Ary Borges as she bagged the World Cup’s first hat-trick.

Anything else I should know?

New Zealand face Philippines on Tuesday and will be coming up against a World Cup debutante for the fifth time in their history.

The bad news for the Football Ferns though is they have lost against sides making their first tournament appearance on the four previous occasions.
