What can we expect from day 19?

Who is playing today? 👀

Romania take on the Netherlands in the opening game of the night as they look to keep their fantastic run going in Munich.

Finally, the last 16 action will conclude in Leipzig with a humdinger of a tie as Ralf Rangnick's high-flying Austria take on Türkiye.

Few players will be as comfortable as Austria's Christoph Baumgartner on Tuesday night as he takes on Türkiye in the stadium where he wows on a bi-weekly basis during the club season with RB Leipzig.

He has been one of his country's key men so far at this tournament, in which he has already registered a goal and an assist, becoming the first Austrian ever to do that in a European Championship.

In his last eight caps, the 24-year-old has been directly involved in nine goals (six goals, three assists) including one against Tuesday's opposition - netting a penalty in their 6-1 thrashing of Vincenzo Montella's men in March.

Must-watch video 🎥

Kevin De Bruyne was, understandably, not too pleased with the line of questioning on Monday night in the wake of Belgium's 'golden generation' missing their last chance at glory.

Fun facts 📊

  • Romania's record in this fixture does not make for pleasant reading, having won just once in 14 meetings (losing their last four-in-a-row), scoring just three and conceding 29 in that span.
  • The Netherlands have led for just 12 minutes and 27 seconds of games so far at EURO 2024 - the fewest of any side to qualify for the last 16 and the fourth lowest overall of all teams in the competition.
  • Since Ralf Rangnick took over two years ago, only three European sides - Portugal (73%), Spain (67%) and the Netherlands (64%) - have a higher win percentage than Austria (60%).
  • At 26 years and 170 days, Türkiye had the second youngest average age team at the tournament during the group stage and if Kenan Yildiz and Arda Güler start, it will be the second time two teenagers start a Euros knockout game, after Hungary duo Ferenc Bene and Zoltán Varga in 1964.

Our predictions 🔮

Romania 0-1 Netherlands

Austria 2-1 Türkiye
