Juventus have made key progress in their move for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho but some distance is still left to be covered.
La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Fabiana della Valle has reported today that while a move for Sancho is closer than ever, Juve still have to make room for the Englishman.
Francisco Conceicao will stay in Turin after an agreement was reached with Porto, the Bianconeri have to sell another winger and that is why Nico Gonzalez is being linked with an exit. He has previously rejected a move to Saudi Arabia but his stance is now softening.
If Atalanta sell Ademola Lookman to Inter, Gonzalez can become a target and this will free up space for Juve to bring in Sancho.
The Manchester United player is willing to reach an agreement over personal terms with Juve but the problem remains the distance between the two clubs. The Red Devils want €20 million, but the Bianconeri haven’t gone beyond €10 million.
The move is going in the right direction with Sancho’s agents playing a key role, but some more progress is yet to be made.
