Our first FA Women’s Super League fixture of 2024 sees us travel to Dagenham & Redbridge’s Chigwell Construction Stadium to face West Ham United.

The hosts will be looking to pick up their first win in the league since 8 October, while we have the opportunity to match our points tally from last season if we claim three points on Sunday.

How can I watch the game?

Sunday’s match will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Football, kick-off 6.45pm.

What is the team news?

Grace Clinton, Martha Thomas and Amy Turner could return to the squad on Sunday evening after missing the Adobe Women’s FA Cup match against Sheffield United.

Luana Buhler and Shuang Wang will miss the trip to the Hammers after picking up knocks, while Drew Spence (hamstring) remains unavailable.

West Ham have strengthed in the January transfer with three new additions, bringing in Kristie Mewis, Katrina Gorry and Shelina Zardorsky, with latter ineligible to play after joining them on loan from us until the end of the season. Goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold also made her first start for the Hammers since mid November in the defeat to Chelsea.

Who is the referee?

Stacey Pearson will referee Sunday’s match, assisted by Nicoleta Bria and Levi Gray.

Amy Fearn will serve as the fourth official.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

West Ham will play in claret and blue shirts, claret shorts and blue hooped socks.

Their goalkeeper will wear green.

We’ll be wearing our away kit, which is primarily navy blue with lilac trim. Our keeper will wear light blue.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It’ll be rather a cloudy and dry during the day in Dagenham, but Storm Isla is set to arrive in the evening and could be bring heavy winds and persistent rain, with temperatures at around 12 degrees.
