West Ham United have this morning launched their new home kit for the 2022/2023 season.

FAWSL Full-Time received details of the new kit via an official club press release from West Ham United.

The Hammers’ latest kit has again been manufactured by British sportswear firm Umbro and promises to be a hit with fans of the men’s, women’s and academy sides.

The kit has taken inspiration from the iconic design worn by Billy Bonds’ promotion-winning team of 1980/1981 with a modern twist. The design incorporates the club’s traditional colours with a claret body being complemented by a scratched graffiti blue and white sleeve detail.

As part of the East Londoners’ ‘one-club’ mentality, West Ham United’s women’s team pair Dagný Brynjarsdóttir and Hawa Cissoko have been involved in the club’s kit launch, modelling the kit alongside some of the stars of the men’s team who have done so well in the Premier League this season. Brynjarsdóttir and Cissoko will hope that the kit will be a memorable one for the women’s team in 2022/2023 as they look to kick on from their record points tally accrued in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League this season.
