WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Hammers this evening.
The 32-year-old centre-back intially joined West Ham United on loan from former club Tottenham Hotspur in the January 2024 transfer window before all parties made the deal permanent last summer. Zadorsky has gone on to make 36 appearances for The Hammers in all competitions. She has helped the East Londoners gradually climb the Barclays Women’s Super League table.
Zadorsky’s experience is vital to West Ham United and the club have therefore moved to extend the player’s contract by a further year.
After signing her contract extension, Zadorsky said “I’m so happy to extend my contract. West Ham feels like home. I felt welcomed from the first time I walked through the door and there is nowhere else I would rather be right now.
“This environment has helped to improve me as a player and as a person. I take pride in helping those around me and I will always try to use my leadership qualities and experience for the greater good of the team.
“I have a strong relationship with the staff and players. We have so many great characters in the building and the team cohesion is something really special. We have fun but we have a competitive mindset and want to push the team to the next level.
“Knowing that we’ve added even more quality over the summer will help us to build on a solid foundation from last season. It’s an exciting time for the Club and I’m looking forward to the season ahead.”
Further West Ham United squad news will be revealed in due course.
