The 20-year-old joins the East Londoners from Fortuna Hjørring and she has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal at The Chigwell Construction Stadium. The player becomes West Ham United boss Olli Harder’s first signing of the current transfer window.
Snerle has almost a century of Danish Elitedivisionen appearances under her belt despite her young age while she won two league titles with her former club. The player netted 13 goals in just 14 games for Fortuna Hjørring during their latest league campaign.
On the international stage, Snerle has 22 caps to her name at senior level and she has appeared in all of Denmark’s FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 qualifying matches to date.
After completing her move to West Ham United, Snerle said “I’m just happy to be here. It’s a big league, a big club and I’m just really excited to get started.
“I’m an attacking midfielder. I like to be creative and make my teammates look good. I also want to score myself.
“I’m just hoping from the beginning to get some minutes and get to know the girls, get to know the style of play, and then getting into it and, of course, winning games with the team and doing well.”
Snerle will be eligible to make her West Ham United debut once international clearance has been obtained.
