West Ham sign former Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos

West Ham have confirmed the signing of Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Mavropanos returns to the Premier League 12 months after he left Arsenal to join German side Stuttgart.

The 25-year-old has impressed during his time in the Bundesliga, having played 70 times for the southern side during his three years there.

David Moyes has been on the hunt for a new centre-back all summer long having previously been linked with a switch for Manchester United’s Harry Maguire.

Instead they have turned to the Greek international, who joins on a four-year deal,
