West Ham join growing list of suitors for impressive young striker | OneFootball

The last couple of months have really seen on loan Chelsea striker Armando Broja step up his game at Southampton, and inevitably there has been plenty of talk about the Saints trying to buy him permanently.

Chelsea are still in a strong position there, given he only signed a new contract last summer, but if they get complacent they will lose him too, just like they did with talented youngsters like Tino Livramento and Tariq Lamptey in recent years.

The bad news is that even if Saints don’t tempt him, someone else might. Football Insider is this morning reporting that West Ham are watching the Albania striker too, trying to muscle their way in on the deal.

They claim their interest is immediate, but we can’t see anything happening in this last week of January at all. When it comes to persuading Broja his future at Chelsea on the other hand, that’s when the presence of other interested teams will make our lives difficult.
