West Ham chasing after £6.1m-rated centre-back Dennis Hadžikadunić | OneFootball

According to Swedish outlet Aftonbladet, West Ham are said to be ‘closely following’ FC Rostov and Sweden youth international centre-back Dennis Hadžikadunić.

The 22-year-old, who came up through hometown academy Malmö FF, has piqued West Ham’s interest after a number of eye-catching displays during his short time in Russia.

Aftonbladet claim that West Ham are likely to increase their interest in the January window. They also believe Rostov only want £6.1m for the player.

Of course, Hadžikadunić would be a significantly more affordable option than Saint-Étienne’s Wesley Fofana. West Ham have offered a package totalling £33m for the 19-year-old after Leicester City backed out of the running.

Though he’s represented Sweden at all youth levels, earlier this month Hadžikadunić chose to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the international level.
