The hunt for Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips is hotting up and Juventus are likely to be challenged by both West Ham and Newcastle United.
Juve have already acquired Phillips’ green light about a move in January and the club’s directors Giovanni Manna and Cristiano Guintoli have already spoken to Stellar Group, which represents the England international. Man City are open to offers as well.
Marco Conterio has reported that Newcastle want to sign a midfielder in January and Phillips is a target. West Ham still want to sign a midfielder, having lost Declan Rice and they see Phillips as an option. The likelihood is that the Premier League sides would have a higher financial capability than Juve, with City looking at a fee of around 50 million to sell the 27-year-old.
Phillips, it is reported, wants to leave City as he wants to play for England at the Euros. If no one is able to afford him, Juve will offer him a six-month loan deal with no option to buy.
