West Brom have made another move in the transfer window, signing David Button from Brighton.

The goalkeeper joins for an undisclosed fee.

Button appeared four times in the Premier League, in 2018/19 but failed to appear ahead of Mat Ryan last season.

The goalkeeper has plenty of Championship experience but is now aiming to compete with Sam Johnstone in goal at the Hawthorns.

“I have ambitions of playing and helping the team as much as possible but I obviously understand that Sam has got them promoted last season so he will start the season,” he told the club’s official webstie..

“It’s up to me to push him and show the manager what I can do and take my chances when I get them.”

Fellow goalkeeper Jonathon Bond has also signed a one-year contract extension with the club.
