After a tiresome transfer window of speculation, Thiago finally became a Liverpool player this week, signing from Bayern Munich for a fee of £27 million.

Though the Thiago signing had been expected for a while, the signing of Jota from Wolves seemed to come from nowhere, and just a day after the transfer was first rumoured, Liverpool completed the signing of the 23-year-old for a fee of £41 million which could rise to £45m.

Thiago made his debut as a substitute against Chelsea on Sunday and Jota went on to make his debut in Liverpool’s cup tie with Lincoln last night.

Crystal Palace interested in Rhian Brewster

According to Sky Sports, Jurgen Klopp is prepared to let Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster leave this transfer window on a permanent transfer.

This will be a shame for a lot of Liverpool fans, many saw the striker as a future starting man. However, the Reds may need funds to cover the purchases of Thiago and Jota.

Crystal Palace are reportedly prepared to pay £19 million plus £6 million in add-ons for the 20-year-old. However, any deal has to include a buy-back option for Liverpool.
