A rolling ball. That is all that’s needed to make Riccardo and Riccardo light up. They live and breathe football from their power chair. From home, in front of the TV. In the ground, often at San Siro. And then on the pitch, donning the shirt of their side, the ASD Snakes.

Skills and plays, just like the icons they admire, dreaming. Their shirt is Nerazzurri when they kick the ball, fly, score, celebrate.

On the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, with “We Are Sport”, they had the chance to head out on the pitch at the KONAMI Youth Development Centre where young players follow their dreams of a future in football, in Nerazzurri. It was a moment for meeting, friendship, and expressing the positive values of sport.

From the pitch at Interello to the one at San Siro: the Interisti weekend brought big and unforgettable feelings. After their day on the pitch, Riccardo and Riccardo were also at the Meazza. Same game, same passion: before the game against Cagliari, the two lads met Vice President Javier Zanetti. Lights and sounds of the Meazza, eyes turned skywards: they experienced the pre-match atmosphere alongside the Nerazzurri icons, their idols. Heading out onto the pitch at their side ahead of kick-off, filled their hearts. One game, one passion.
