At the age of 41, Pepe Reina might be thinking that he is getting a little too old for this sort of thing. The football, he still seems to be keen on, but his performance for new side Como, singing a song as an initiation, suggests he is still enjoying that side of it too.
Reina left Villarreal on a free this summer, and has headed to Italy to join former World Cup-winning Spain teammate Cesc Fabregas at Como, signing a one-year deal. His initiation was to sing a song in front of his new teammates, and upon mounting a chair, gave a rather solid rendition of La Bamba by Ritchie Valens, as popularised by the Gipsy Kings.

While Reina is unlikely to start at Como, his impact as a dressing room character has been valued consistently throughout his career, with Pep Guardiola even bringing him in at Bayern Munich behind Manuel Neuer.
