A headline member of the summer transfer wishlist at La Liga giants Barcelona was responsible for a moment of individual brilliance on the international stage earlier today.

This came during the World Cup qualifying showdown between Argentina and Colombia.

The two South American nations locked horns in Buenos Aires in the early hours of Wednesday, in a repeat of last year’s Copa América final.

When all was said and done, the spoils were shared between the sides, owing to a 1-1 draw.

Thiago Almada was the man responsible for dragging Argentina level late on, but it was Colombia’s goal which truly grabbed the headlines.

This came after Luis Díaz – the no.1 attacking target of La Liga champions Barcelona this summer – conjured up a moment of magic.

From his berth on the left flank, the Liverpool star cut inside, dancing his way beyond a series of defenders, before coolly slotting him.
