Jurgen Klopp reflected on a positive night in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening as the Reds overcame Norwich City with relative ease at Carrow Road.
It was a much-changed side that Liverpool named for the clash with the Yellows but the job was still done in decent style.

Takumi Minamino impressed perhaps most of all, too, whilst youngsters like Kaide Gordon and Connor Bradley got their chance in a red shirt for the first time.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
It’d be nice to see the Reds go far in domestic competitions this year as it’s been a while since we’ve won one of them.
Hopefully the fringe players are inspired to do that, too, as that’s the best way they’ll get more game time.
