Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw blew away the competition to become the WSL top scorer for 2023/24, scoring a total of 21 goals over the course of the season.
The player in second place?
That was Lauren Hemp, who clocked in with 13 – a staggering eight less than her Man City teammate.
And this season, Bunny Shaw is already off the mark, scoring a perfect predatory striker’s finish after Kerstin Casparij got in front of her marker brilliantly to provide the cross.
It’s going to take someone very special to beat Shaw to that top scorer award once again this season.
