Watch: Adli showcases great vision with lovely assist for Leao against Lecce | OneFootball

Yacine Adli played really well in AC Milan’s 3-0 against Lecce and got two assists as a result of his performance. The second one, which was for the goal scored by Rafael Leao, really showcased his fantastic vision.

It has been a season of ups and downs for the Frenchman, but at least he has been given the chance rather consistently by Stefano Pioli. Today, he was certainly in a good and ended up getting a 7/10 in our player ratings, which was the highest score.

As said, the first assist for Olivier Giroud was good (coming from a corner) but the second one was absolutely lovely. He spotted Leao’s run very early and managed to get the perfect weight on the pass, allowing Leao to make it a 1v1 with the first touch.

Milan will take on Roma in the Europa League quarter-final first leg and it remains to be seen if Adli will start. He scored in the last game against the Giallorossi, so it might be a good idea to give him the chance again.
