Antonio Briseño is reported to have sparked a row on the Chivas bench at the end of Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Toluca.

The 10-man Flock, who had Carlos Cisneros sent off in the 24th minute, seemed destined to claim an unlikely three points on the back of substitute José Juan Macías’ second-half goal.

But Leonardo Fernández finished a mazy dribble by rifling home off the upright to earn the hosts a share of the points at the Estadio Nemesio Díez.

According to TUDN, unused sub Briseño had urged Alexis Vega to waste some time just prior to Fernández’s 97th-minute effort.

When the Toluca striker scored, Briseño reportedly turned to the bench and said: “I told you so.”

César Huerta took exception to the comment and that led to tempers flaring in the Los Rojiblancos camp.
