Deals such as Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan have a clause in the contract that means Chelsea can recall the winger in January, should they wish to do so.

With Chelsea’s managerial change since Hudson-Odoi got his move to Leverkusen, there are chances that he might be recalled in the winter window. Graham Potter will assess what he has and other situations and circumstances, and this could end up meaning that he will want Hudson-Odoi back in his squad.
